My Interests

Dance

I've been dancing since I was just a baby and have recently backed out of taking classes and gone into teaching them myself. I have also moved from classical ballet and lyrical to more upbeat styles such as tap and hip-hop. Because of having been a dancer for so long, I have a knack of picking up choreography extremely quickly, which bleeds into other activites that require a quick mind and muscle memorization.

Programming

In 2009, I got through a basic Ruby programming book in 2 days. Since then I have taught myself Ruby and Python to a fair degree, and have some knowledge in Java, Javascript, PHP, Perl, and a few other languages. My main project is a chat bot with many functions and a little database, all of which can be easily edited while it's online, making it ever-growing.

Web Design

I started learning HTML in 2007 but didn't really understand it past the very basics until the last 1-2 years. I've now designed two websites from scratch, one of which is a business site, the other being the one you are looking at now. I now grow, learn, and solve my problems with html, javascript, and css like I did learning Ruby: with Google.

Drawing

I started drawing in 2004 by making a ugly little comic about three animal super-heros in an animal world. Later I made a different comic with teen humans surviving through school. Now, I actually try to draw, but still fail. I get more feedback from my photography. I still enjoy it though!

Games

I'm not a gamer, but I do like flash games, MMOs, and playing Call of Duty, Mario Kart, SSB, and other games like that against my friends. I kick butt at Mario Kart Wii and in CoD I hide in the corner with my big machine gun.

Fantasy

I have a fantasy fetish and recently got to join a Dungeons and Dragons campaign in which I created a rogue. After, I joined another and became a fighter. I currently play both and have a lot of fun. I also enjoy other interweb fantasy games and watching Lord of the Rings.

Audio

I cut music and have recorded a band with crappy equipment. I use Audacity for most projects and with it I can cut a song in seconds, and it sounds good. Even friends that aren't into it can recognize bad cuts after being spoiled with my abilites! I'm not that big headed... but I do cringe when I hear a bad cut.
